In this series of blogs, we will tell you more about the OUTPACE project from Greenwich perspective.

This yearly event is held in the Kent town of Rochester which has many connections to the life and works of the beloved author Charles Dickens. Each December local residents dress up in their best Victorian finery or as Dickens characters and process through the High Street. Carol singing, live readings form Dickens novels and a Victorian fair complement the procession. This event brings many literary inspired Christmas visitors to the Medway town and is a favourite event in the Christmas calendar.
